Please Help, I Need To Start Modeling Career Now But I There’s No Opportunity Coming….?
Posted by bicolano in Question & Answer Oct 13th, 2009 | 4 responsesI’m 13 years old and I’m really in to fashion especially couture, I REALLY REALLY want to model now! but the problem is that there is no opportunity coming and I live here in the Philippines particularly in Legaspi city Bicol, there’s no modeling agency here…..and I don’t want to apply online ‘coz I don’t have a good picture in my computer and most of modeling agency in the net are scams, I’m so desperate…I really know how to model, (runway, catalog, print, couture etc…)
PLEASE help me, I can’t make a portfolio ‘coz I don’t have money to hire a photographer I’m only 8th grader, (13 years old)

if you are model gorgeous have a friend take photos of you & send them to agencies with a letter explaining that you want to pursue a career in modeling & mention that you did not have the funds for a pro portfolio. if you are gorgeous an agent will see that pro pics or not.
jus wait for a year…mean while start doing a part time job…and get your money to get your port-folio done…
STAY IN SCHOOL LOSER!!! go to college and take fashion. that’s the smart thing to do.
If you are serious, we are opening an extension office in the Naga City, City Hall Complex with the support of the local government here in their Creative Media Center. Due to your age, you would have to bring your parent(s) with photo id and one copy of your birth certificate and the birth certificate of your parent(s) in order to prove their acceptance of your decision and their ability to sign a legal contract on your behalf. We will offer you a non-exclusive contract so that you can pursue other modeling opportunities as you get better known. If you can work with video as well, there may be even more opportunities though we cannot guarantee that. The Naga City Creative Media Center is a project of the Naga City Investment Board so our offices are located here in the City Hall Complex. In the past, our models have worked with Viva Entertainment, GMA Films, many Independent film companies and in many commercial and promotional videos.
